 Key Responsibilities

 Procurement Management

  • Collaborate with site teams and project managers to assess material requirements.
  • Prepare and issue accurate and policy-compliant purchase orders.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers to secure the best value and terms.
  • Track order progress, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve delivery issues.

 Vendor Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors.
  • Keep the approved vendor database updated and organized.

 Inventory and Cost Control

  • Help manage optimum inventory levels to reduce wastage.
  • Suggest cost-saving measures to optimize the procurement process.
  • Reconcile invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders accurately.

 Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities.
  • Generate regular reports on purchasing volume, supplier performance, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and UAE regulations.

 Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with the finance, logistics, and project teams.
  • Provide real-time updates on material availability and lead times.

 Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Purchase Coordinator, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and vendor markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and any procurement or ERP software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
