Major Roles of a Barista

The main ideas of the job that a Barista at Ali Bin Ali Hospitality has to perform are as follows: to serve high-level beverages and keep the level of the service as excellent.

Your Daily Tasks will be the Following:   

• Making coffee and tea drinks on the basis of the company recipes and customers preferences
• Running of the espresso machine, coffee grinder among other barista equipment
• Handling customer orders in an effective manner in a professional and friendly way
• POS and cash handling skills with accuracy
• Making your work space clean and organized
• Checking supply and helping with the restocking of supplies
• Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene rules

Job Requirements

To be qualified to work in this position, you have to fulfill the following requirement:

Qualification:

• Min: High School Diploma/equivalent

Work Experience;

• No less than 2 years of experience within the hospitality sector (cafes, restaurants, clubs etc.)
• It is pre-eminently desirable that you have prior experience as a barista or a customer facing job
• Capacity to work under pressure within the fast-paced environments

Skills and Language:

• It is necessary to speak English well
• It is an able advantage in Arabic language
• Well developed people and communication skills
• Cash handling and basic mathematics skills
• Capability of standing up and multi-tasking effectively
