Important duties and responsibilities

When you are hired as a Waiter at Ali Bin Ali Hospitality W.L.L, it is expected of you to maintain the most superior levels of service. Your day to day responsibilities will be:

Guest Service and Communication

• Welcome the guests and serve them the orders and seats.
• Efficiently communicate to FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House) teams.

Offer timely professional service of food and beverages.

Food Care and Hygiene

• Minimize wastes, spillage, and breakage.
• Keep the place of eating clean and healthy all the time.
• Adhere to safety standards as discussed by HACCP and ISO.

Operation duties

• Maintain the professional atmosphere in case of guest complaints and move it higher when the case requires.
• Properly utilize the MICROS system in order placement and invoices.
• Direct subordinates and educate runners on the measures of hygiene and service.

Job Requirements

The perfect candidate will be the one that:

Educational Qualifications

• Secondary school certificate plus.
• A 4 star or 5 star hotel or high-end restaurant setting would be preferable.

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter in a good restaurant or a hotel.
• Working knowledge of the MICROS or like systems.

Language and Communication

• English proficiency is compulsory.
• Skills in the Arabic language come as an added advantage.
• Good relationship and communication skills.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge on HACCP and ISO safety.
• Capacity to operate in a stressful atmosphere and remain calm during rush.
• Professionalism and confidence of the interactions with the guests.
