 Key Responsibilities

Being a Senior Painter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the aesthetic and functional attractiveness of the hotel. You will also be involved in numerous repair works, maintenance works and in painting across the property.

Core Duties:

• Act swiftly and with a professional response to maintenance and repair requests of the guests.
• Mix and apply paints on the interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform general drywall and wood trim.
• Do preventive work, particularly, in kitchens and the mechanical sections.
• Keep stock and order supplies on demand.
• Use lock out/ Tag out in maintenance activities.
• Help in repairing of the sprinkler system and the landscaping.
• Clarity in communicating with team members in regards to daily work and concerns.
• Maintain the Marriott standards on quality, safety and the guest service.

 Required Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent of GED.
• Practical abstraction with general maintenance, preparation of surfaces and painting.
• A plus is the familiarity with the facilities and engineering system of a hotel.
• Current and valid Drivers License necessary.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience of working with a hotel engineering or maintenance group.
• Exposure to tools, materials and procedures on painting and treatment.
• Problem solving attitude and individual capability.
• Fluent speech in English.
