The Rooms Technician position is suitable to those candidates who have an experience and the technical level in the area of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, in particular, in the luxurious hotel sphere.
Key Responsibilities
As a Rooms Technician work, you will have to take care of all the machinery that should be in order with regard to maintenance of the rooms. This involves maintenance, inspection, repair and preventive troubleshooting performed daily.
Each of your daily responsibilities will involve:
- Repairing and checking HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration systems
- Conducting mechanical checks every day
- Supervision of temperature measures, energetic consumption and utility usage
- Setting up gauges, meters, thermostats and control systems
- Installation, assembly and repairing of electrical wiring and piping assembly
- Carrying out maintenance of pools and spas when necessary
- Making sure that the guests are satisfied by efficient and speedy service
- Keeping the working environment neat, clean and safe
- Adherence to the safety laws and business policies
