Position Title: Carpenter
Working as a Carpenter at Centro Shaheen, you will play an important role in ensuring the visual and structural soundness of the hotel. Whether it is repairing fixtures or making custom-made furniture, you will help make sure that all the guests will have a safe, functional and aesthetically appealing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Treat, and repair the wood frame structures and furniture
- Repair door locks, glazing and windows
- Allow designing lockers, shelves, and cabinets as well as their installation
- Use woodworking machineries in a safe and efficient manner
Replace damaged parts of wood work and do finishing
- coat or stain the wood-work with plaster, paint, or paneling to produce an effect free of blemish
- Comply with all requirements in order to perform the assigned duties according to safety requirements and the technical standards

Skills & Qualification Needed
- Grade 12/High school diploma or equivalent
- This is demonstrated work in carpentry and building maintenance
- Knowledge on safe lifting, handling and work place safety procedures
- Capacity to speak English and work on his or her own
- Good problem solving abilities
